By the time Carrie retires from tennis, she is the best player the world has ever seen. She has shattered every record and claimed twenty Slam titles. When six years into her retirement her record is broken by a young British rising star, Carrie decides, aged 37, to come out of retirement and attempt to reclaim her record, with her coach (who is also her father) by her side. This is a great story about drive, ambition and what it takes to be an elite athlete. More importantly, it’s about the love, support, and growing understanding between a father and daughter as they reevaluate their definitions of happiness and success. A great read whether you’re a tennis fan or not.
