We’ve taken your feedback from last year’s event and we agree, having the showdown at the shop is something special. But we have limited space and tickets sell fast and booklovers miss out, so what’s the solution?
Hold more than 1 showdown at the shop of course!

REINDEER REP RUMPUS: Friday, November 14th

Without the reindeer pulling his sleigh how will Santa deliver all the presents?

We’ve invited mighty reindeer (representatives) from NZ’s biggest publishing houses to share their top book recommendations for the Christmas season. Nic from Hachette, Clare from Penguin Random House, Phil from Pan Macmillan, Alex from Harper Collins and Michelle from Allen & Unwin will go up against our *christmas* buzzer.

ELF EVENING EXTRAVAGANZA: Friday, November 21st

Without the elves in the factory how would Santa know what to give the good boys and girls?

This night is a duplicate showdown event but instead of the reindeer (reps) presenting books to you it will be the elves (Booklover Staff) Rachel, Laura and Olivia who will go up against the buzzer to present the top book recommendations for Christmas!

Guaranteed to be two festive nights of fun, laughter and books, books, books!

We will provide nibbles and refreshments and everyone who attends will receive a bookish goodie bag so really, what more could you ask for? It’s the booklover’s calendar event of the year and you do not want to miss it.

In the spirit of sharing we ask that you choose which event you’d like to come to and book one night only. If we notice you’ve booked more than one event you will be contacted and refunded for the duplicate ticket.
