In the same vein as last year’s Ariadne, this is another re-telling of a Greek myth from the female point of view. We switch between Clytemnestra (sister of Helen), her daughter Elektra, and Princess Cassandra of Troy as they struggle against their family curses and the subsequent fall of Troy.

You don’t need to know or even like the original mythology - I never really liked Homer’s story of Troy with Achilles so I find it fascinating to hear from the women left behind during the war - what happened back in Mycenae after Agamemnon departed for Troy? Did Helen go with Paris willingly? You’ll have to read to find out! If you loved either Ariadne or Circe, then this is a must-read.
