As soon as I discovered this was pitched as a modern story inspired by Little Women I put my hand up to read it. Hello Beautiful is about four sisters growing up in Chicago who have a wonderful tight bond with one another, and parents who love and challenge them. Then a young man called William - with an achingly sad, troubled past - enters their lives and the sister’s love for one another is tested to breaking point. A beautiful story with stunning prose and a gorgeous cover. I absolutely adored it.
