This is a very sweet, wholesome story about magical kids, but also about accepting others who may be different to you. It's about stepping out of your comfort zone, and opening yourself up to be loved. The kids are non-human but consider it as lite-fantasy, there's more to the story than just the magic! One of the kids is the Antichrist, Luci, who was just simply adorable and my favourite kid by far (Theo was Rachel's favourite). The main character is a 40-year-old man with a gay romance sub-plot, however we would recommend this to anyone (including teens) because we loved it so much. It was one of my top five books for 2021 and I need to re-read!
