If you haven’t heard it yet - this is my favourite read of 2024 so far. The writing in Moon Road is so sublime I was re-reading lines simply because they were so damn beautiful. The story is wise and tender and heartbreakingly hopeful, with just the right amount of tension and mystery to keep you turning the page. Moon Road is about a wife and her estranged husband taking a road trip across Canada to try and discover what happened to their daughter who went missing many years earlier. But of course it is about so much more than that. Perfect for fans of Mary Lawson (author of A Town Called Solace, another fav), Elizabeth Strout, and Barbara Kingsolver. I will never stop recommending this book!
