I loved Catherine Newman’s previous novel We All Want Impossible Things and this is another cracker! Had me in fits of laughter one minute, and close to tears the next. I SO related to the main character, Rocky who is ‘sandwiched’ between her growing children fleeing the nest and her ageing parents at a time when she is battling hormonal changes due to menopause. Bluntly honest and outrageously funny.
