I’m a big fan of Natasha Lester and her newest novel is as good as the rest. From 1917 Paris, to 1970s New York, to the present day in the French countryside, this is the story of three generations of women trying to forge a name for themselves in the fashion industry. If you love fashion, romance and intrigue, then The Disappearance of Astrid Bricard is the perfect book for you. Meticulously researched, I love how the author is trying to re-write the history books by bringing the lives of these pioneering fashion icons out from behind the label of ‘muse’ they were given.
