‘Ocean's Eleven’ meets ‘Downton Abbey’ is how I would describe this fantastically fun Edwardian heist story. It opens with housekeeper Mrs King being marched off the premises on Park Lane in London and told never to darken their doors again. But return she does, scheming to steal back everything that is rightfully hers. She wants every single object in the house from the smallest teaspoon to the largest painting and all the other fixtures and fittings. But can she pull off this audacious robbery on the night of a glittering ball? Counting down the days to the ball and then the hours of preparation, author Alex Hay, gathers together a band of sisters equal to the job. But will they get caught? You’ll have to read it to find out. This one’s a romp!
