Forget what you know about unicorns. They're not pink, fluffy and sparkly like we've all come to think. Unicorns don’t belong in fairy tales; they belong in nightmares.
A lot of books claim to be the next Harry Potter or Percy Jackson and I am so excited to say I finally agree that this is the next big thing in children's literature. You can bet that if you walk into the shop looking for a book for a child aged 10 or over this is what I'll be recommending. (Adults too!!)
Reading this was like getting a huge hug from my childhood. I never thought I would find a group of friends who made me feel like Harry, Ron and Hermione did but Skandar, Bobby, Mitchell and Flo had me rooting for them since the moment they met in the unicorn Hatchery.
Obsessed. 5 stars. Absolutely brilliant.
