Booklover Bookworms
We’ve recruited a couple of local kids who are extremely passionate about reading to be our ‘Booklover Bookworms’. They very kindly read new books that arrive in the shop and then write honest reviews which we display in store and online. We adore reading children’s books ourselves but appreciate that our customers like to hear what a kid’s book is like from the perspective of an actual kid! Meet our bookworms below:
Hi, I’m Frida and I love books. I’m nine years old and I go to Milford school . I am in year five and have started the best book I’ve set my eyes on. I love comics, fantasy and joke books. When I’m bored, I read. When I’m sad, I read. I enjoy writing and started making my own book. My top five favourite books are: Keeper of the Lost Cities (the best book I’ve set my eyes on), Dog Man, Wolf Girl, Geronimo Stilton, and lastly Cat Kid Comic Club. BOOKS ARE OUR FUTURE!!

Wow that list is long (really short), though all jokes aside, that list took me about ten minutes to get written down. My two (because you can never have just one) favourite genres are fantasy and mystery. Last but not least the reason I love reading is because it is a way to escape my boring normal life.
